Disclosing your condition at work can be complicated. On one hand, employers may be able to better address your needs and accommodations. It is also important to note that you cannot apply for anti-workplace discrimination protection without first disclosing your condition. On the other hand, disclosing upfront during the application process may cause the employer to discriminate against you. Overall, it’s a good idea to disclose on your own initiative, at a time when you feel comfortable and when your work is going well. Other thoughts on disclosure?
